Patrol F Trip

Patrol F will be going up to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes for the weekend. This trip is going to have many varieties of different activities. We will be geocaching on Saturday and/or Sunday. We will have the option of swimming for part of the time on Sunday also.

Sleeping Bear Dunes, for those who don't know, is a national park along Michigan's shoreline. Included in this shoreline are massive sand dunes (I mean truly massive, some being over 15 stories tall) that we can run or slide or invoke the powers of gravity and in general have quite a bit of fun on. Other things we can do if somehow we get tired at the dunes are geocaching and swimming. For swimming (or just for some chaos) you should bring water gun(s).

We will be meeting at the troop room next to the parking lot of St. Thomas. at 6:00 PM Friday. Please bring 3 season camping gear and BE SURE to bring rain gear, sandals, sunblock, along with all the other things on the gear list. I recommend you bring two water bottles as well, in order to make sure you stay hydrated. After the trip we will be dropping you at home around 7:00 PM on Sunday.
