Pere Marquette Weekend Canoe Trip
Are you ready for one of the most fun rivers in Michigan? The Pere Marquette river is it! Winding through the forests and fields of western Michigan, it ranges from fun floating sections to faster water and mild rapids. The Pere Marquette is bigger and more interesting than the Manistee or the Huron. So come join us for a real river trip!
As you can see this will be an awesome trip! It will be awesome especially if you have been to the canoeing meetings and learned how to be awesome at canoeing. We will be driving up to the Pere Marquette River which is about 4 hours away. Compared to the slow moving water of the Huron the Pere Marquette is much faster and more interesting. Since the river is moving at a faster pace, you will not need to paddle as hard to go fast. Plus, you get to practice canoe flipping and have epic water gun fights. Definitely a trip you won't want to miss!
Remember, to come on this trip you must have come on at least one of the moving water days. This could've been either the first one or the second one.
