Patrol Projects

Throughout history, engineers have been some of the most revered and influential people in the history of mankind. Behind every technological marvel, there is an engineer who built it. Yes, great works such as the RMS Titanic, the Hindenberg, the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant, and that one BP drilling station in the Gulf of Mexico could never have come to fruition if not for great engineers to spur on discovery and innovation.

Perhaps you can live up to these great engineers' names! Tongiht we will be making a trebuchet, a medieval siege weapon that has been obsolete since the dinosaurs walked the Earth.. However, bored teenagers (read: Troop 8) still have a strange fascination with the trebuchet, probably due to the fact that it is capable of throwing things across the room! Annoy your parents! Impress your friends! Break everything you own! Break everything your enemies own! Defend yourself against the police! Amuse yourself while awaiting your trial for property damage and obstruction of justice! The possibilities are endless!

So, come to this meeting to unlock the ancient wisdom of the trebuchet! (The real ancient wisdom is to use a cannon instead, but the nice men in blue don't let us play with cannons anymore.)
