We will be heading up to the Pine River which is in Central Michigan just east of last year's Pere Marquette. The pine river is a fast paced class I-II river which proves to be a lot more interesting than the Huron. The bonus of it's fast pace is that you need to paddle a lot less to go fast. You will also start to build your camping skills which will help when the time for Summer Camp comes. The Pine is a faster paced river than the Huron and even the Pere Marquette. Because of this, we need you to have come on either all 3 canoe nights or the flatwater day as well as either the moving water day or the moving water overnight. Even if you have been to the minimum requirements you should still come to everything you are available for and you might even be able to earn Canoeing Merit Badge.
