Steve has been with the troop since 1997, in a variety of roles as a scout and adult - everything from PL to QM to SPL to ASM and now Scoutmaster. Steve works for U-M as a neuroscience researcher studying brain activity related to drug abuse.

Steve initially came to visit Troop 8 because his best friend was joining. When said friend moved away, Steve promptly dropped out... only to rejoin the following year after making new friends. Soon he was Patrol Leader of the Second Year Scout Patrol, and later Patrol B.
