I'm Jason. I was a scout in Troop 8 for seven years, and now am what passes for an adult volunteer around here. As a scout, I held many leadership positions, including : Not-even-APL, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, (All four of those in the span of one year!) Senior Patrol Leader (for like 1.75 years) and finally, Elder Patrol Z Scout who Does Nothing. (For the remaining .25 years.) Right now I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan, planning on doing pre-med. (Though I haven't decided my major yet. I'm conflicted between English, Bio, Neurology, and, of course, History of Art.) Apart from Scouts and school, I like to do theatre, and have acted in a couple shows, including As You Like It, The Crucible, Parade, The Addams Family, and Macbeth. I hope to continue acting in college, even though I'm not a theatre student. (Those theatre students can be intimidating, you know.)
The photo at left is my Halloween costume. On Halloween, people always ask me things like "Who are you dressed as?" or "Who are you?" or "What are you doing in my house?" followed shortly by a visit from some nice trick-or-treaters dressed as policemen. But I've always thought (well, since high school) that great art can be interpreted in many ways, rather than just one. So, I'm not going to explicitly tell you what my costume is, but you can draw your own conclusions as to what I am and what I represent.
But don't worry, I don't always dress like a complete lunatic. (I'm referring to the OSU colors, of course, not the chicken mask. I wear that one pretty often.)
