Core Skills Night 3
The Core Skills Nights continue!
"Imagination is more important than knowledge" - Albert Einstein. This is my second favorite quote. Want to know my favorite?
"Imagination is more important than knowledge, unless someone is bleeding all over the floor. In this case, imagining treating them will not help." - Jason Dean
While Albert Einstein obviously didn't know anything about first aid, this doesn't mean you can't learn it! In this episode of The Core Skill Nights, you will be doing:
Patrols A and D will be paying a visit to the illustrious Ann Arbor Bivouac, wher they will learn many important things about gear, particularly which ones have the tendency to spontaneously combust. You will be walking to Bivouac, so make sure you are dressed for a comfortable walk there and back.
Patrols E, F, and G will be learning how to treat blisters and sunburn, which may come in handy for the 1,000 mile long trek across the Sahara Desert that they have coming up.
We will be starting promptly at 7:20, please make sure to be on time so you don't miss anything. (Especially if you are in Patrols A or D, as you will need to leave shortly after arrival.)
