***CHANGED: Moving Water Overnight

UPDATE: Skip's Canoe Livery is shutdown for the weekend so it looks like we're falling back to our backup plan to go to Fretzland. Still bring your canoeing stuff, because there is a tiny possibility that we may go and canoe Delhi to Argo. Thanks for your patience with water levels.

Finally, a plan! This weekend, as you know, was scheduled to be the Pere Marquette trip. However, due to rain, and more rain, and even more rain, we couldn't get in our quota of moving water day trips in order run that trip successfully and so we had to cancel the trip. The new plan is as follows: We will be meeting on Saturday at Skip's canoe livery to go Canoeing. Meet up time is 9:30 AM. HOWEVER: Due to getting even more rain we may be barred from the Huron again!! If this is the case, and I will know be around 5:00 PM tomorrow, we will be meeting at Fretzland. We will canoe all day, and then go to Fretzland for an overnight of fun and laughter. The next day we will be dropping your son off at home at around 9:30 AM.

As noted above, due to the rain we've been getting, we may by barred from the Huron River. In that case we will be going to Fretzland all day for a session in basic vital camping skills to help us prepare for summer camp! The times for this will again be the same as listed above.

Be sure, if you read this in time, to notify your patrol leader that you are coming. (You can also signup below!!) If you don't signup in time we can still take you, but it's much easier for us if you tell your PL that you are coming. Thanks, and be sure to come out.

Prerequisites Details:

Date and Time:

Fretzland (click here for map)

Directions to Fretzland (the old one), 6551 Warren Rd. From Ann Arbor, take Plymouth Rd past US-23 into Dixboro and turn left onto Vorheis Rd. Go about a mile, then turn right onto Warren. Go about 1/2 mile, and look for a cluster of about 5 mailboxes on the left next to a driveway, one of which will be 6551. Look down the driveway just past the mailboxes and see a two-way fork, with a small sign saying "Oak Trails School" in the middle. (This is visible from the road, but only at near stationary speeds, so slow down when you get to the mailboxes.) Take the left fork at first, and in a couple hundred feet you'll come to another fork, which you should take to the right until you reach a large cul-de-sac.
