Have you ever complained about having poorly cooked food? Or made some poorly cooked food yourself? Well cry no more (unless you're chopping onions), because tonight you are going to learn to cook. Tonight we are going to do a bit more complex cooking than last time. Last month, you should have learned how to do basic cooking skills, tonight we are going to test those skills by making you cook a full meal. This includes some sort of delicious dinner along with a dessert that hopefully you know how to bake. The meeting tonight is going to be extra awesome because not only do you get to cook food, but you get to eat some aswell (so you better not burn it).
We are going to be outside for most of this meeting (cooking with our stoves inside usually results in a bad atmosphere), so you should bring weather appropriate clothes. If you are for some reason too lazy to check the weather or have been inside your house for the past several months, it happens to be cold outside; this means that it would be nice to bring cold-weather gear such as a coat, hat, gloves (these should be wool just so they burn instead of melting to your hand), etc. Also, this meeting happens to be at night, which means it's dark outside and there isn't much light. If you actually want to see the food you are going to be cooking and (hopefully) eating, you should bring a headlamp. You may think this is all you have to bring, but wait there's more! Civilized people these days use something called plates and utensils to eat their food, so it would be handy to bring some of those things.
There is only one requirement for this meeting. That is to be in troop 8. If you are not in troop 8, but are reading this, I'm sorry but you are unable to come and join us on this eventful occasion The one thing that Nima forgot about is that this meeting would be WEBELOS WELCOME! So yes, webelos can come if they wish.
